This wingsuit jump in Empuriabrava, Spain features me, Costyn, as the subject, and Jarno flying above as cameraman.\r\n\r\nIt was planned in careful detail. We would fly out to sea, then turn at a predetermined altitude, and open up over the town. There was a lot of wind coming from the sea going land inwards, so we could fly back fast under canopy. We both made it back to the airport under our canopies.\r\n\r\nI was wearing my ForeTrex 201 GPS and later overlayed the data on the video Jarno made. Het Lab - Wingsuit FlyBy (Original Footage) Description: For a Dutch (semi) science show, we were asked to explain some things about wingsuits, and perform a stunt flyby past the show host doing a tandemjump.\r\n\r\nThe flyby disappeared almost completely in the editing of the TV show, so I made a quick edit with all the orginal footage, showing the (slighly steep) flyby as it originaly happened.\r\n\r\nFor the original TV item, check out the video hetlab_flyby_item.wmv also on skydivingmovies.com\r\n\r\nDISCLAIMER: The wingsuit flyby manouver performed here should be considered a STUNT and must not be attempted by unskilled wingsuit pilots.\r\nIt was a planned event, and both tandem master and passenger were fully aware of the danger before going up.
